ASOMBROSO Hokkaido hand cut fries
ASOMBROSO is Spanish. It means "amazing". When sharing a room with two Colombians, a Fijian, and an Indian in New Zealand, the founder of Asombroso was talking about opening a french fry shop when he returned to Japan, and one of the Colombians said, "Such an amazing thing". He asked, "How do you say amazing in Spanish?" and they answered, "Asombroso." He instantly liked the sound of this and decided to use it as the name of his shop. He strives to have his customers say, "That's amazing - ASOMBROSO", after they finish eating.
