Welcome to blowhard lodge, an historic gem nestled in the heart of the thriving, and world-renowned, Niseko United ski area in Hokkaido, Japan.
Built in 1962 as Victoria Lodge, blowhard is the original and only remaining ryokan-style accommodation situated in the prime upper Hirafu village precinct.
Over the last 20 years, blowhard has been transformed into a modern lodge while preserving its traditional ryokan style.
With spacious accommodations for16 guests across 8 rooms, multiple large and comfortable common areas, a media room and a central sunken conversation pit with a wood burning fireplace, blowhard blends the charm of the past with the modern.
